Phuket Property in Kata Noi – Resorts, Villas, Apartments and Hotels

Phuket Property in Kata Noi

Phuket property in Kata Noi (Noi = small), is dominated by The Katathani Resort and its annexes.

Kata Noi Phuket Aerial View Katathani's monopoly, although first class does not give the place any real character, unless saluting attendants and manicured gardens are your thing.

The other property developments of consequence are the Kata Gardens Apartments built by Raimon Land, as well as Kata Private Condominiums, which have apartments for sale or long-term rent.

Both are set between Kata and Kata Noi.

Other than that, there are very few villas and bungalows to be found anywhere in the Kata / Karon area as land is so precious, since it is hemmed in between the sea and hills.

Consequently, apartments and hotels dominate the built landscape.

Phuket Property in Kata Noi – Getting There

To get to Kata Noi, on the road heading south out of Kata, turn left at the T junction, there you will find what shops, restaurants and bars Kata Noi has to offer in the 1 Kilometer before reaching the end of town.

The road itself faces onto the back wall of just about everything there since all the developments along the road take advantage of the sea views.

The exception is Mom Tri's Villa Royal, a nice villa development which also includes Mom Tri's Kitchen. Both are highly recommended.

Other than that, the drive from Kata to Kata Noi is a pretty uninspiring 5 minute drive.

Phuket Property in Kata Noi – In General

Kata Noi is advertised as quiet, this cannot be denied, however, arrive there during high season and you will find it just about impossible to park as the road is a tad on the narrow side!

The reason for this is simply that it's a nice place to be, there are good restaurants and shops to be found and an absolute must for a day out.

Consequently the limited car parking spaces fill quickly as do the beach umbrellas which obscure the soft white sand and the pleasant sea view.

In the off-season though (May to October), it tends to be a bit of a ghost town, much like the rest of the island, except for Patong.

As far as entertainment goes, Kata Noi is primarily dominated by restuarants.

Joe South's Restaurant, which is part of the Baan Rim Pa Restaurant Group, is a noted landmark of interest and also a quality dining establishment.

There are a few more restaurants dotted about, some tailor's shops an opticians as well as a couple of tourist type mini marts and that's just about it.

Small, but nice.
