Phuket Real Estate in Ao Po



Ao Po is a relatively small beach bounded at the southern extremity by a headland. The headland marks the northern extent of the Ao Po Bay Area.

As yet the area is relatively undeveloped and rubber plantations dominate the rolling hills behind the two beaches.

This means there are a number of land parcels available to purchase as land plots for stand alone homes or larger parcels suitable for multi home villa and apartment developments.

Phuket Real Estate in Ao Po – Land

The list below will give you some idea of land sizes and prices available as of November 2007.

11 Rai of elevated land with Nor Sor Sam Gor land title. It has good sea views and a good access road with an electricity supply nearby – 57.2 million Baht.

Phuket Real Estate in Ao Po – Villas And Apartments

East Coast Ocean Villas Stage 2 is now being offered for sale. Stage 1 (40 villas), was completed in 2005 and quickly sold out.

Each 2 bedroom villa has an open floor plan of 129m2, complete with floor to ceiling glass doors and great ocean views.

The units are partly furnished and have car ports, ducted air conditioning, telephone and cable TV points. There is also a 24 hour security service as part of the complex management.

They are marketed as apartments and are available to purchase on leasehold terms from 6.5 million Baht each.

The Estate Beachfront is a 19 villa gated beachfront development facing the islands of Phang Nga Bay, situated at the northern end of Ao Po Bay adjacent to the soon to be completed (November 2007), 200 berth Ao Po Marina.

These are luxury 3–4 bedroom villas, with private pools. Some have views over the Phang Nga Islands. Prices range from 10 – 55 million Baht.

Tawan Views is at the southern end of Ao Po with an elevated position on a sloping hillside, all with views of the Bay. It is marketed as a high–end condominium development.

Taman Views consists of 3bm apartments and penthouses (208m2) with large balconies. The penthouses have roof top decks – starting at 20 million Baht.

Ao Po Marina complex is in construction phase now. The marina facilities will open in late 2007.

The marina club house should be completed by June 2008 and will include a restaurant, cafe and bistro with associated nautical businesses.

The five–star 75 room hotel will feature an artificial beach and look over the marina.

There will also be exclusive private villa residences as part of the development.

Construction of the hotel and villas began in June 2007 and should be completed in late 2009.
